Dear TUFSD Community,
This letter serves as an update to the search for a new principal for George F. Baker High School. As of today, our efforts continue toward finding the best leader for our secondary students and staff.
The ongoing search is following the same process that led to the appointment of Melissa Jean-Paul, Ed. D. as principal of the George Grant Mason School. Our administration is evaluating current applicants and will provide a list of leading candidates to an evaluation committee. The committee - which includes Human Resources personnel, administrators, faculty and parents - will have the opportunity to speak with and assess each of the candidates. The panel’s feedback is crucial and will be heavily considered in the final selection.
It is our goal to select the best possible candidate for the principal position.
The slate of candidates includes an impressive group of educators with robust backgrounds. Please know that we will not not rest until we feel confident that we have selected an individual who will be a strong fit for our George F. Baker family.
