Congratulations to the newest members of the National Honor Society and Junior National Honor Society. Twelve George F. Baker High School students were inducted during the ceremony that took place in the school's auditorium. Joining family and friends were members of the Tuxedo UFSD administration, faculty, staff, and Board of Education.
Senior Emily Brito sang the National Anthem to kick off the ceremony that was led by NHS President Reggie Juance, Vice President of Administration Marley Vaught, Vice President of Service Veronica Chavez Granillo, Secretary Jake Sandak and Treasurer Anthony Arone.
Superintendent Jeff White, Interim Principal John Xanthis and incoming Principal Jared Kahmar delivered remarks, along with Faculty Advisor Jennifer Jones and Guest Speaker Bonny Takeuchi.
Honor Society inductees were selected by the Faculty Council for their achievements in scholarship, leadership, service and character.
