George F. Baker High School Principal Jared Kahmar announced that Reggie Juance is the valedictorian and Jake Sandak is the salutatorian of the class of 2024!
Superintendent Jeff White and School Counselor Chris Oliva were also present to help deliver the news to Reggie and Jake, and they commended the students on the outstanding work and dedication they put forth over the past seven semesters to secure the positions of number one and two in the graduating class.
Reggie plans to study computer science and Jake’s area of interest is political science; both are currently undecided where they will pursue their post-secondary education.
The honorees will be recognized at the Tuxedo Board of Education meeting scheduled for March 20, attend the Outstanding Students Award dinner given by Orange Ulster BOCES, receive a special medallion to wear with their cap and gown and give addresses at GFB’s graduation ceremony on June 27.
